Green Bay Area Youth Hockey Association

Approved by the GBAYHA Board in January, Credits for 2011-12 will be as followed:

CREDITS by Skater - 4 credits for all teams except Mighty Mites and Super Squirts.  Super Squirts will be required 3 credits and Mighty Mites will be required 2 credits. 

FAMILY SERVICE HOURS - Each family (all skaters in GBAYHA except HIP) are required to volunteer FOUR (4) hours at the U16 Tier II Nationals, hosted by GBAYHA and CCC on March 28th-April 1st, 2012. 

Each Family will need to have Credit Deposit ($400 for all skater except Super Squirts $300 and Mighty Mites $200) and $100 Service Hour Deposit.  This can be combined in one check and is required at registration.

All GBAYHA members are required to complete credits for each skater.  All skaters are required to complete four credits.  Exceptions are Super Squirts who are required to complete 3 credits and Mighty Mites who are required to complete 2 credits.

One credit equals a five hour shift in the concession stand.  Packer ticket takers and Green Bay Gambler 50/50 raffle shifts are also available for a 1/2 credit.  There are also credited positions through GBAYHA and when positions are available, they will be posted on this page. 

At the end of the year, for any credits you are short or have signed up for and not worked $100.00 for each full credit and $50.00 for each half credit will be deducted from your credit check submitted at registration.

GBAYHA Members, for this upcoming season, you will have the opportunity to sell Entertainment Books to satisfy your volunteer credit requirements.

Credits:

3 books = ½ credit
6 books = 1 credit

• You can begin to NOW as books have arrived.
• Payment is required when you pick-up books, which sell for $30 each for the Green Bay/Appleton area.
• Email gbayha@att.net with questions or to place orders.
• Upon payment, your credits will be posted on DIBS within a few days.
• We will also have the ability to order books for the following locations with a lag time of approximately one week (the costs will vary dependent upon Entertainment pricing).

A summary of your completed credits is available in the DIBS volunteer management system.  A link to DIBS is located on the menu bar.

Or when logged into the website, you can click on the down arrow next to your username, then Dibs.  This will give you a list of what you have claimed and what has been marked complete.

The concession stand schedule is listed in the DIBS volunteer management system.  A link to DIBS is located in the menu bar at the top of this page.

Only registered GBAYHA members that have submitted all required checks have the ability to view DIBS items.  If you are a registered GBAYHA member and do not have access to the DIBS system contact Dawn Jenquin.
