Green Bay Area Youth Hockey Association

Green Bay Area Youth Hockey Association (GBAYHA), a non-profit volunteer organization, strives to provide safe and affordable hockey and instruction for children of the Green Bay Area. We believe that participants receive the important benefits of fitness, sportsmanship, teamwork, leadership, and cooperation that will help each child achieve his or her personal goals, and contribute to the greater good of the community.

GBAYHA will be offering Entertainment books for the 2010-2011 year at a cost of $30 each.  Order forms coming out soon with books to arrive August 31st.  This is a great fundraiser for us so please share with all of your friends and watch the fundraising page for the Green Bay Area Youth Hockey Association order form.

We are looking for girls (beginner to experienced skaters) to play hockey. If you have always wanted to learn how to skate and play ice hockey, or if you just want to refresh your skills & have fun, this is your chance! 

• Seven sessions of hockey skills, drills and scrimmage
• Cornerstone Community Center
• Wednesdays, July 15^th – September 2^nd

Ryan Belonger, a forward with our Junior Gambler Midget Major team was the 1st  pick of the St Louis Bandits in the recent NAHL Draft.
 
Ryan began his hockey playing in the Green Bay Area Youth Hockey Association in 1996. Doing 1 year of Learn to Skate, 2 years of Mite Rec, and 1 year of Mite AA. He then played 2 years of Squirt AA in which both years he was a part of the State Championship teams. Ryan moved to the Jr Gamblers for the next 6 seasons, 2-PeeWee 2-Bantam and 2 Midget Major. His #1 goal is to land with a D1 program, hopefully in the WCHA. Parents are Gregg and Lisa Belonger. Brother Nic and sister Christy.
